Lyrics

The song about what we believe, which is made from what we think and want, which constraints what we do. “Kamisama” means something to believe or rely on in Japanese. The lyrics maybe ambiguous and difficult to interpret because I was into writing dark thoughts in somewhat smeared way like this at that time.

We produce things to believe or even the fate by words and thought, yet we are trying to be free from them by the same means.

As Kamisama tells us to,
as people tell us to,
we believe in the time of salvage
and just wait for the time to come.

People may start to dream when they gather to talk
by feeding naive curses for it to grow.
They may sneer at fallen composite of aspics
as it's deserved to be for what it've done.

We feel we're moving when
we kick off a cold and unstable floor.
It's snowing outside but
It's nothing to do with us, isn't it?
Why do we look only through a small window,
even though we can only see forward since we were born?
So the world is now.

As Kamisama tells us to,
we have festivals here and
convey prays of people for it,
we've been told to do so.

We hide our feelings and
pretend to be something instead of,
But only the thrown stones are
thought to be opinions to concern.

A word unconsciously dropped makes ways someday.
synonyms start to wander around streets.
When saturated discrepancies make minor 9th harmony,
we'll know it's already cracked and malfunctioned.

As Kamisama tells us to,
as the world wants us to,
we pretend as if we can change our forms
and as if we are free from anything.

It's like pasting beautiful blue skies
inside of a room we built,
or lighting a light in a small room and
tell ourselves It's darker outside.

It's snowing outside.

• Minor 9th harmony is a musical term that typically indicate dissonance. Note that it’s not always a case.
• When fading out, bass plays Sleigh Ride melody, since lyrics contains the word “snow”.

Supplement

The score used in the video during the interlude. I think it’s one of my beautiful creation with use of counterpoint and modal chords, then land to half tone up melody.
